I'm loving my Friday ritual. Go to work at 4am, well maybe not that part. But taking the grandkids home with me at noon is awesome.
I get to watch Dora and Diego. The grandson is all about Max and Ruby right now, oh and BubbleGuppies. My personal favorite is UmiZoomies. I almost tuned in the other day. By myself. But I got over it. I was a bit concerned for a moment.
In non-annoying-gramma news: the honest to goodness bathtub is in the foreseeable future. I will probably spend an entire week in the tub when it gets done.
Hubby dear is working on the drain lines this week. And a miracle! All is going well. (throwing salt over shoulder)
Must get back to my mundane life.
Dog needs to go out.
So excited about your upcoming bathtub. I'll send a prayer up to the plumbing gods that the install is quick and easy!!!

@jkatj, I guarantee you are not as excited as I am. It'll be a while yet, got to move the laundry room first.
ReplyDeleteYEAH for grandkids
ReplyDeleteDOUBLE YEAH for almost getting the tub done.
I love baths....long ones
I am so burned out on Dora from when Ben was little that I cannot stand the songs...
that is all
@PBJ I so miss a bubble bath. It's been all showers for a year and a half. Killing me.
ReplyDeleteAnd Grandkids, so great. Who knew!
My little one is only 2, and I have to tell you that she loves the time she spends with her grandparents. As did I. The most wondrous thing a parent can do is love their children's children. I loved spending time at my grandparents when I was young. And my little girl loves spending time with my mother and my husband's father (both our parents are divorced). My father has 2 new children of his own, hardly older than my little one. He hardly even knows my daughter. It is his choice of course, but I think it will haunt him forever. On the plus however, the other 2 more than make up for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to say, in short is, good for you for loving your grandkids so emphatically. They will remember it forever.
