I've Got Coffee!

I'm excited to share on Whatcha Got Wednesday with Brandi at Go Team Duncan!  I usually link on the  Duncan's StoryDam site from by other blog, Elsetime & Otherwhen, (that button to the right with the glowy kitty eyes).

But for this, I'm back at my original blogsite.  So, what've I got?

I.  Got.  COFFEE!

For those not subjected to my twitter feed, I received a Keurig Platinum Coffee Brewer for Christmas.  I have coffee on demand thanks to my wonderful, extra loving, daughter.  (It is awesome!) (So is she!)

However, I have limited counter space in my kitchen.  And I already have a percolator, and an espresso maker.  The Keurig is rather space hoggy.  What to do?

Well, in the junk extra bedroom was shoved my mother's old computer cart.  When we moved into this house with my Mom, that room was our personal living room.  After she passed away a year and a half ago, it became a catch-all room.  We were trying to clean it up for the grandkids as a playroom.  The computer cart was destined for the trash.

Until I stared at it for a while.  As it begged not to evicted to the junk pile.

I had a vision!  Re-purposing.  An annoying yet handy catch word in a throw away world.

So I rolled it to the kitchen....and....

Voila!  My very own coffee kiosk.  The Keurig is the big monster in the center.  My little old espresso maker to the left, and the old percolator peeking from behind.  The baskets hold assorted K-cups, I have my mug tree, and even a space for my travel mug.

I am caffeinated!

  2. Oh I love it, and what a good way of using something you have on hand 'just in case' ;) My Granny Jewel would be proud!
I love our Keurig too, but I have to agree it is a space hog!

Thank You for linking up :)

  3. I love your Coffee Kiosk! I have done something similar with my teas because I am not a coffee drinker. *Shock and Dismay* Yes I am one of the few. :D I love "Re-purposing items.

Something I wanted to let you know...

I really wanted to leave a comment so I was pretty determined. I looked at the bottom of your post. Didn't see "Comment" or "Comment Here" Or "Leave your Thoughts" and honestly "2 Let Me Know You Dropped by :)" looked like it was pointing to the "email this post button. If I hadn't been so determined I might have given up and not left a comment. Just wanted to let you know because my next thought was, "I wonder how many comments she never received because some people don't immediately see the link and just leave?" I like to be cute and attract attention in a different way on my page, but if the cuteness detracts from the goal of the page, you may want to rethink it.

    Peace,
    Morgan
